Catherine's Christmas List

Dear "Santa Claus,"

I think I've been pretty good this year. And while I don't think that really matters at all, seeing as even the brattiest kids end up with presents under their Christmas Tree ('Cause you're a bit softie that way), I feel that it's one of those things that's necessary and traditional to put in these letters. Below are the things I thought of while waiting for my food in an "Applebee's." I do NOT need them all, but my parents think that it would be easier for some people *coughGrandmamacough* to do Christmas shopping for me. Because I'm a teenage girl. And so hard to shop for. (Sarcasm not intended) I've categorized them for convenience and, hey, if I feel really crazy, I might even alphabetize them. (Whoo, I'm a wild woman!) Also for convenience, side notes and links have been added.

See you 12/25, "Santa!" Love ya, babe!

Catherine Makes Honor Chorus

Catherine loves music. Unfortunately she and I don't always love the same kind of music. We must compete for control of the radio any time we ride in the car together. I like gospel, country, and classic rock. Catherine likes whatever it is that teenage girls like these days.

But Catherine doesn't just like to listen to music, she likes to make it too. That's why she has been taking piano lessons from Deborah Beasley for more than a year now. She also sings in the Luella High School Chorus. Last week she tried out for honor chorus. We were all so excited when we found out she "made the team" and would be singing the second alto part. Congratulations Catherine!
